Our Vision:

The vision of the Animal RFID Consortium is to provide education on RFID and other technologies for the authentication, tracking and management of animals; and leverage this knowledge to identify the specific needs of the animal industry while influencing the product offerings in the marketplace.

Our Mission:

The mission of the Animal RFID Consortium is to act as a forum for organizations and individuals who are vested in the health and well being of animals and collectively represent a balance of government, animal associations, practitioners, and academicians. The cumulative wealth of knowledge and resources will aid in the advancement of an enhanced understanding of how the use of RFID and other technologies can improve all aspects of animal management and protect the global food supply from disease and other threats. It will enhance track and trace capabilities.

With a goal of improving return on investments to ensure safe and healthy resources for years to come, objectives include: streamlined and integrated services to improve the life cycle of animals in our care; less redundancy; and reduction of losses.
